Chinese Garlic Chicken
Boneless skinless chicken breast halves-4
Finely chopped ginger-1tsp
Finely chopped fresh garlic-3tsp
Vegetable oil -2tbsp
Chilli paste or chilli powder or chilli sauce-1tsp
1.Place chicken breast in freezer for 1 to 2 hours or until very firm but not
frozen solid.slice cross wise into thin slices.Beat egg white ,cornstarch and
lemon juice till cornstarch is dissolved.Mix this to the chicken and let it
stand for 10 minutes.
2.Now combine the sauce ingredients and keep it aside.
3.Heat oil, add chicken pieces and stirfry till the chicken turns white.
4.Remove chicken. keep it aside.
5.Add spring onion, ginger, garlic and fry lightly.
6.Now add the chicken pieces and the sauce.
7.Cook till the mixture becomes hot and bubbly.
